At the age of 41 I have become a father for the first time.
I am going through a huge change in my life at the moment and things do not always go smooth, even if I am actually living my parenting dream. I have also put off a plan to climb Mount Everest, the last of the Seven Summits that is left for me to go to. Because I would like to be with my family now and grow in a father’s role. Hence my decision to take a yearly parental leave from regular work.
I want to show that engaged fatherhood may be the tastiest way of life.
